For Marcos, music has been a constant of his life. However, everything changed the moment he discovered Michael Jackson.

"Yeah, I was maybe two when I discovered [Michael Jackson] for the first time. My dad had bought Guitar Hero and I remember the first time I heard 'Beat It'. After that, I was all about MJ. The only CDs my parents let me listen to until I was maybe, ten [years old], was Thriller and the Essential Guide [to Michael Jackson]."

"It wasn't until I discovered Jeff Buckley that I really started songwriting. The moment that I had started songwriting was the moment I decided that I need to record this stuff. I hopped on my dad's computer and started messing around with Garageband. The second song I ever made, I posted it [on SoundCloud]. It was hot garbage."

"When I met Oskar, d'Arc was born. This guy is genuinely the most artistically gifted individual I have ever met. The way he views the art, everything. We started working on an album and we wrote, recorded and produced the whole thing in 3 weeks. It was eat, sleep, music, and videos. After that album, I went insane. I was making at least 2 songs a week, sometimes even a song a day. Granted, most of them were trash, but I was a creative machine."

"Then Oskar created Worm Star with me and our friend Ava, and that was probably the best summer I ever had. It was our goodbye to Melbourne [Florida]. That record was the most honest I had ever been period. We poured everything we had into that project, even if some songs were weird."

"Now I'm just putting my music out there. I'm going back to old songs, remixing them, making them sound the way they sound in my head. I also played my first show in February, and it was probably the best day of my life. After I get through this semester and switch my major (I'm going through hell with my current major), I'm going crazy. This summer I'm going to be working on three separate projects at the same time. Worm Star album, a project with Ginevra, the greatest singer to come out of Melbourne, and my debut d'Arc album. It's gonna be awesome."
